We offer red travertine stone to our customers in two types of the most widely used cuts. Tiles and slabs are among the most popular and best cuts for all types of stones. Regarding its processing, it can be said that in general, red travertine is well compatible with polishers (subs) and maintains its resistance well during the abrasion and polishing process.
The price of this stone is determined based on factors such as color, quality, and grading. The grading also depends on the health of the edges, the degree of transparency and gloss, as well as its porosity. In the following, we introduce the factors affecting the price of stone in more detail
Stone quality is evaluated by studying two factors of the physical and chemical structure. The quality of the stone is higher when stone structural specifications are more similar to the determined standards.
The brighter the background of the stone and the more ability in reflecting light, the higher is the quality. Red travertine is a high-quality stone because of its high transparency and ability to reflect light.
Obviously, the larger the dimensions and diameter of a stone, the higher is the price.
Processing methods include polishing, brush, tumbler, honed, and bush hammer. Polishing with epoxy resin is performed to fill the pores of red travertine stone.
The more empty spaces in the stone, the higher is the quality and resistance of the stone to external factors.
Red travertine is very resistant to wind, rain, and weather changes so it is a suitable option for use in the exterior façade of the building and flooring of streets and parks. The wavy shape of this stone is mostly used in the interior façade of buildings. Travertine is a very good insulator against sound and this feature makes it suitable for use in noisy environments, such as music schools and studios.
