Azna porcelain falls into the category of crystal stones. This stone is one of the most famous Iranian porcelain stones which has a white background and irregular light gray lines diagonally. Mine of this stone is also located in Lorestan province (Azna city). This type of stone is also called Arbab porcelain because it was first exploited by a person named Haj Ghanbar Rahimi – known as Arbab.
Porcelain is a type of limestone or dolomite that has recrystallized over a long period due to the thermal pressure caused by the injection of high-temperature magma. For this reason, Azna porcelain is also included in the category of converted stones. The porcelain classification for these stones is due to the heard sound after gentle blows to the surface. Because it sounds like porcelain.
Depending on the type of cutting that is done on this stone, it is available in two sizes of tiles and slabs. The size of the tile is the same as the size of the tile, but the size of the slab is larger and shows the natural design of the stone more clearly. Although it is more expensive than Azna porcelain, it is more economical because of the features mentioned.
Azna porcelain stone is often carved in the form of slabs and its book-match designs are more popular because it shows the shape of the crystals as beautifully as possible. If you use the book design of this stone, you will give the beauty of nature to your home.
Azna porcelain stone has a different appearance and different structural features that make it superior to all members of the porcelain stone family. For example, its unique crystal structure makes it polished and doubles its beauty. Here are some examples of these.
Most architects use the book-match and four-match designs to cover the stone walls and lobbies of conference halls and libraries, as well as the walls of luxury buildings.
This stone is also suitable for the exterior and interior of buildings, but due to the very low porosity and smooth surface, we must use clamps during installation that prevent it from falling before it fully adheres.
Although Azna porcelain is more expensive than other members of its family, it is much more suitable in terms of quality and price than other similar foreign and domestic stones.
