Silver travertine is of the travertine family with the color spectrum of gray that has been interested in and welcomed by people for many years. Silver travertine is a stone that provides you with beauty and strength at the same time. In general, travertine family stones are very popular among people. The frequency of these stones is more compared to other stones with construction applications and has a higher color variety.
The majority of silver travertine is extracted from mines around the village of Torshab, Heshmatabad district located in Lorestan province – and the Takab stone mines. The color of this beautiful stone is unique. Therefore, this stone is sent to other countries because of its rarity and specialness. In fact, most of the travertine extracted from mines is exported outside Iran. Kuwait, Oman, UAE, Bahrain, Canada, and Australia have always been buyers of this popular and luxurious stone.
In the Premium Stones craft collection, we use two types of cuts to divide the stones into ordered pieces. Tile and slab cuts are the two types of cuts, and depending on the purpose for which this stone is to be used, one of the tile or slab cuts is done on it.
Types of processing methods
After the stones are cut, they are processed. The extracted stones cannot be used raw and their surface must be polished to be ready for installation in different places. We process silver travertine in three following methods:
