Warning: Do not use abrasive or polishing cleaners, as they will scratch the stone.

Note: It is better to apply mineral oil on the surface of the soapstone once every two weeks in the first year of installation so that the stone is oxidized (dark) uniformly. After that, repeat this every two months.

Slate

Slate is mostly used for counters and floors and many putties are used to install them. slate is somewhat difficult to clean due to its bumps.
